Biomechanical Analysis of Full-arch Implant- Supported Rehabilitations with Different Designs
نویسندگان
چکیده
The aim of this research was to perfom a biomechanical analysis of different designs of a fullarch screw-retained implant-support rehabilitation, mainly in two components of the prosthetic structure: abutments and prosthetic screws. 3D simplified models of a mandibular arch with seven variations of an implant-supported rehabilitations were developed, modifying the implant’s number (4 or 6) and axis (straight and tilted) and the framework cantilever size. Results obtained show that longer cantilevers supported by tilted implants should be avoid in order to prevent mechanical and biological complications.

PURPOSE To report the 5-year outcome of the All-on-4 treatment concept comparing double full-arch (G1) and single-arch (G2) groups. MATERIALS AND METHODS This retrospective cohort study included 110 patients (68 women and 42 men, average age of 55.5 years) with 440 NobelSpeedy groovy implants. One hundred sixty-five full-arch, fixed, immediately loaded prostheses in both jaws were followed fo...
متن کاملStress Distribution in Natural Tooth and Implant Supported Removable Partial Denture with Different Attachment Types: A Photoelastic Analysis
Background and Aim: Different attachment designs have been developed to connect implant to natural teeth in partial dentures; however, adequate studies have not been performed to determine stress distribution patterns in these designs. The present study aimed to assess stress distribution patterns in natural tooth and implant supported removable partial denture with different attachment designs...

PURPOSE The aim of this retrospective study was to investigate the cumulative success rate, the implant survival rate, and the occurrence of biological complications in implants supporting full-arch immediately loaded rehabilitations supported by upright and tilted implants. METHODS The clinical records and periapical radiographs of patients who attended follow-up visits were collected, and i...
متن کاملImplant-prosthodontic classification of the edentulous jaw for treatment planning with fixed rehabilitations.
PURPOSE This study aimed to develop a classification of edentulous jaws for use as a diagnostic tool during implant-prosthodontic treatment planning. MATERIALS AND METHODS The morphology of 200 fully edentulous alveolar ridges (100 maxillae, 100 mandibles) was assessed with cone beam computed tomography. Generic implants (length: 8 mm; diameter: 4.1 mm) were used. To develop the classificatio...
